1 Nephi 3:7 "...I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them."

Coming Home

I cannot believe that the time has come for Elder Parkinson to come home.  I didn't think this day would ever come.  Writing my last email to him seemed so weird, but yet incredible at the same time.  What is it going to be like to just pick up the phone and be able to call or text him at any time of the day.  It is the little things that we have missed and taken for granted.  Our family is so ready to have him back even though these last two years have been such an amazing blessing for all of us.  I couldn't ask for a better life and spiritual experience for my son and am so grateful for the things he has learned and the lives he has touched.
